If I see any kind of travel experiences list online somewhere, you can guarantee I’ll be lapping it up with eager eyes and mentally adding more items to that never-ending travel bucket list. Must-see cities? Best beaches in the world? Sign me up immediately. So, after gorging on so many over the years, I’ve decided that it’s high time to make one of my own. The most beautiful, mind blowing and unbelievable things that keep coming back to me when I think about my future travel plans. Here they are:
Visiting Japan in sakura season – this was taken in Chidorigafuchi Park
Gazing out at these incredible lakes in Banff National Park, CanadaDay hiking in the Grand Canyon
Learning to scuba dive and exploring the Great Barrier Reef
Relaxing in my own little paradise – the Maldives would do nicely
Partying in New Orleans for Mardi Gras
Finally seeing the Northern Lights
Exploring New York City by day and night
Spending endless days on the beaches of Southeast Asia
Taking a tour of the Plitvice Lakes – summer and autumn!
Waking up ridiculously early to watch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal
Standing at the edge of Trolltunga
Sailing into the Waitomo Caves to see glowworms light up around me
By no means a complete record of everything I want to see in my lifetime, these are the obsessions – the travel experiences that I can’t get out of my mind. The pictures that, no matter how many similar images I’ve seen on my Instagram feed, I always double tap without a second thought. Just looking at this collection of images is enough to make me want to pack my bags and fly away immediately. Who’s coming with me?
Comment below with the travel experience you most want to have!

April 28, 2016 at 9:14 amThis could be my experience list too – I’m with you on all of these. I’m planning to tick off Banff and seeing the Northern Lights (fingers super crossed for that one) this year.
I want to do the W trek in Patagonia Torres del Paine National Park, it looks absolutely stunning.
