Nativo Hotel Review | Ibiza boutique hotel

If you’re looking for the cutest boutique hotel in Ibiza, stop right here. This Nativo Hotel review will tell you why this place is exactly where you need to stay on your trip to Santa Eulalia!

If you’re a millennial like me – aka shamelessly sucked into the whitewashed ‘n’ crochet holiday vibe – the Nativo Hotel will be right up your street. I’m pleased to report it’s all style and substance: far from just a pretty face, this boho paradise will deliver the relaxing break in Ibiza you never knew you needed.

First impressions

From the moment you step into the Nativo Hotel, you’ll be enveloped in a world of laid-back luxury. The hotel’s boho-chic aesthetic is spot on; it’s stylish without being pretentious. We loved the sandy bar area, which instant transports you to a beachside café without taking a step outside your front door.

The bar area is the first place you’ll spend time when you reach the hotel, as the team will do your check-in process here – complete with a complimentary drink. It’s the most relaxed way to start a holiday and if you’ve timed it perfectly like we did, you can enjoy a delicious bite to eat while you’re there. This is also where you’ll eat breakfast each morning, although we’ll get to that later. We need more time to discuss the food!

The hotel’s color palette is Ibiza through and through, creating a serene atmosphere with calming and understated, creating a serene atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a space where guests can truly unwind. It’s the kind of hotel you’d expect to be adults-only, but there are lovely family friendly touches throughout that make it suitable for all types of travellers.

The rooms

If the hotel’s public areas were impressively relaxed, the bedrooms were a pure sanctuary.

We stayed in one of the hotel’s massive Boheme suites, complete with a king-sized platform bed, huge bathroom with rainfall shower and freestanding bath and balcony. Our balcony didn’t have the best view, as it looked straight out onto a wall, but it did give us added privacy! I couldn’t fault the room at all, with complimentary water and coffee replaced every day, paid mini bar and wonderful-smelling toiletries.

The pools

I don’t know about you but whenever I’m booking a summer holiday, it’s the hotel pool photos that sell me every time.

You won’t be disappointed by the options here at the Nativo Hotel: they’re small, but perfectly formed with two lagoon-style downstairs pool areas surrounded by palm trees and curtained daybeds. These are family-friendly and one pool joins to the swim-up rooms – my dream rooms if we go back one day!

However, as the hotel was pretty busy when we stayed, we spent most of our time at the adults-only rooftop pool. The stunning mountain views and the chilled-out atmosphere made it the perfect place to soak up the sun. The Saturday afternoon DJ added an extra vibe up here, but nothing too intense.

The food

The Nativo’s dining options were a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was a feast for the senses – I’ve genuinely never been to a better hotel breakfast buffet. It’s really easy to eat healthy here, with tons of different breads, eggs to order and a make-your-own acai bowl station, complete with the most delicious homemade granola. There are all the traditional options and more so you’ll come away feeling super satisfied and ready for the day..

Lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant were equally delicious, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. We dined at their rooftop restaurant, HUMO, on the Saturday night which was relaxed yet sophisticated, with steak that even my formerly-vegetarian self could appreciate. While the island has so many fantastic restaurants on offer, you won’t be disappointed by choosing to eat here for a night of your stay.

The location

The Nativo Hotel is located a short walk from the heart of Santa Eulalia, making it super easy to explore the nearby beach and town. Santa Eulalia is a lovely town packed with restaurants and chilled beach bars, making it perfect for families, couples and groups looking to escape the hectic hustle and bustle if Ibiza’s more wild areas.

If you’re wanting to head further afield, you can grab the bus from Santa Eulalia town or there’s another bus stop on one of the main roads slightly closer to the hotel. It’s a really cheap and simple way to get around the island, although hiring a car will give you tons more freedom to explore at your own pace!

Looking for the ultimate chill without heading too far from the hotel? There’s a supermarket and a restaurant with great reviews, Restaurante Albissa, just a few doors down too. You won’t be short of things to do if you choose not to venture out, including rooftop yoga four times a week, a poolside DJ on weekends and even chilled Sunday movie nights.

The service at the Nativo was wonderful, with friendly and attentive teams who felt like they genuinely cared about every guest’s experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was one of relaxed luxury, making it the perfect place to escape the stresses of everyday life and simply enjoy the Ibiza sunshine.

Honestly, our stay at the Nativo Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the luxurious rooms to the delicious food, every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations – I’m well and truly converted to the bougie hotel life.

If you’re seeking a relaxing and stylish escape in Ibiza, I hope this Nativo Hotel review has convinced you to give this hotel a try!
